The shirt you remember
Somewhere in the 1990s, in a national-park gift shop or a roadside truck stop, you saw it: the airbrushed t-shirt with the wolf howling at the moon. Big soulful portrait up top, a second wolf on a moonlit ridge below, mist, pines, more moon than any sky has ever actually contained. It was completely sincere and completely magnificent.
We had one question: why did only the wolf get one?
What we do about it
Moon Howlers is that exact artwork — the double-exposure portrait, the full moon, the misty ridge, the warm faded tones — remade with complete sincerity for every animal we can get to hold still. The corgi howls at the moon. The capybara howls at the moon. The axolotl does its best.
Every design is original artwork, played absolutely straight, printed on heavyweight garment-dyed cotton in a washed pepper colour — the kind of shirt that looks like you've owned it for a decade the day it arrives, and only gets better from there.
