Returns & Refunds

Every Moon Howlers item is printed to order, just for you — there's no warehouse of stock for returns to go back into. So our policy is simple, and honest about what that means.

Damaged, misprinted, or wrong item — we fix it, free

If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, defective, or isn't what you ordered, we'll make it right at no cost to you:

  1. Email hello@moonhowlers.store within 30 days of delivery.
  2. Include your order number and a photo of the problem (for size/print-placement issues, a flat photo of the whole item helps).
  3. We'll send a free replacement or issue a full refund — your choice.

You don't need to post anything back. Refunds go to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days of approval.

The same applies to orders lost in transit: if tracking confirms your package is lost, we replace or refund it free.

Wrong size or change of mind

Because each item is made to order, we don't accept returns or exchanges for choice of size, colour, or change of mind. Please check the size chart and fit notes on each product page before ordering — our garments run relaxed, and the product pages say so.

If you're stuck, email us anyway. We can't promise an exchange, but we'd rather talk to you than leave you unhappy.

Care-related wear

Garment-dyed fabric softens and fades gently over time by design. Damage from washing against the care instructions (hot water, bleach, high-heat drying, ironing the print directly) isn't covered — the care guide is on the FAQ page and on every product page.

Customers in the EU/EEA: made-to-order products and the right of withdrawal

Every product in this store is made to order: nothing exists until you order it, and your item is printed individually for you after checkout. Under EU consumer rules, the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance sales does not apply to products that are made to order, and it therefore does not apply to purchases from this store.

Two things this does not change:

  • Anything defective, damaged or misprinted is replaced or refunded free, as described above — always, everywhere.
  • Your statutory rights, including the EU legal guarantee of conformity, are not limited by anything in this policy.
