About the garment

This one is built on the Comfort Colors 6014 blank. It's 100% ring-spun cotton at 6.1 oz, garment-dyed so the colour already looks broken in on day one. The fit is relaxed and unisex, finished with ribbed cuffs and a twill-taped neck and shoulders. Every shirt is printed one at a time, to order.

About the design

A cocker spaniel does not look like it has anything to howl about. That's the point. Ears like velvet curtains, a face built for sympathy cards, a body shaped by a century of sitting politely at your feet. And yet here it is, throat back, fully committed, performing anguish like it's been rehearsing in the yard all week.

Spaniels were bred to flush birds from brush, not to commune with the night sky, but folklore has never let a gun dog's job description get in the way of a good omen. They say a dog's howl at the moon means a spirit is passing through. This one looks like it believes that completely, and wants you to as well. Soulful, a little theatrical, dead serious about it.
