About the design

Tyrannosaurus rex did not chase. It arrived. Sixty banana-sized teeth, a bite that could grind bone to paste, a skull built like a battering ram — the whole animal was one long argument for getting out of the way. Those arms, barely long enough to scratch its own chin, never mattered. It wasn't reaching for anything. It was already there.

Long before anyone called it a dinosaur, people who dug up its bones supposedly called them dragon bones, and said the ground shook when it moved. Some animals earn the moon. This one just took it. You'd have felt it coming.
