About the garment

This long sleeve starts as Comfort Colors 6014: 100% ring-spun cotton, garment-dyed for a colour that already looks broken in. The fit is relaxed and unisex, finished with ribbed cuffs and a twill-taped neck and shoulders. Each shirt is printed one at a time, to order.

About the design

The tapir did not evolve to intimidate, and it never bothered to start. Its nose is a short trunk, a rubber hose grown straight out of the face, built for pulling leaves off branches nothing else can reach.

The body looks borrowed from a hog, but the tapir walks along riverbeds like it owns the current, holding its breath the way a diver counts seconds. In parts of Asia, they say the baku, a creature built from the tapir, eats your nightmares before dawn. It howls at the moon anyway, same flat expression the wolf used to wear.
