About the design

The unicorn was never real, which has never stopped anyone from looking for it. Hunters tracked it for centuries and came home with nothing but a spiral horn nobody could produce. It looks like it should be delicate — narrow legs, a coat built for standing still in paintings. It isn't. Legend has it only a virgin could get close enough to touch one, and even then, the stories don't agree on what happened next.

Some things are worth chasing precisely because you won't catch them. This one howls at the moon like it has nowhere better to be, and somewhere better to be anyway.
