About the garment

This is the sweatshirt half of a matching set, printed to order on a heavyweight blank built to be lived in. Garment-dyed so colors land consistent with the tee, with a fleece interior that stays soft wash after wash.

• 80/20 ring-spun cotton and polyester fleece, with a 100% cotton face
• Garment-dyed to match the t-shirt, so a set looks like a set
• Relaxed unisex crewneck, with ribbed cuffs and waistband

About the design

Cocker spaniels do not look like howlers. They look like they're about to ask you for a bite of your sandwich. This one is airbrushed in cold moonlight, white and silver and ash grey against near-black, overspray gritty and a little crude the way these things always were in 1990. The ears alone could catch wind. The eyes are doing all the work.

Spaniels were bred to flush birds from brush, nose down, body low, built for patience, not performance. And yet: some say dogs howl to call the pack home, to answer something the rest of us can't hear. Supposedly this one hears it too. Soulful is the word. Slightly performed is the delivery. Wear it like you mean both.
