About the design

Foxes don't win by being bigger. They win by already knowing where the henhouse gate sticks. The trait that defines this animal isn't speed or strength, it's inventory: cached food, memorized routes, a mental ledger of every unlatched door in a three-mile radius. It looks like a small, delicate dog. It is not a small, delicate dog. It's a problem-solver wearing a costume built for sympathy.

Folklore agrees, mostly against its will. They say the fox talks its way out of every trap it didn't bother avoiding in the first place, and that whatever's howling at the moon in this print already knew you'd be standing there.
